To finalize your onboarding and complete your onboarding process, please complete the following steps.
By completing these steps, you will ensure:
One Easy Password: Your single new password will work for all your major accounts (Google, Microsoft, and District systems).
Ready to Go: The Technology Team will be able to set up your access to: PowerSchool (if applicable) & Automated emergency alerts
Essentials Prepared: We will generate your: Employee ID Badge, Electronic Key (Fob), Security Code (if needed), Any assigned hardware (like a laptop)
This first step sets up your single password for all major school services and configures your security settings.
Click this link to start the sign-in process.
Sign In:
Enter your full email address (from your onboarding email) and click Next.
Enter your temporary password (from your onboarding email) and click Sign-in.
Update Your Password:
Enter your temporary password again.
Create a new password (enter it twice).
Requirement: Your new password must be at least 12 characters long and cannot be a password you have used before.
Set Up Security (MFA or Questions):
On the "More information required" screen, click Next.
Choose a Security Method (Strongly Recommended):
Option A (Default): Set up Email MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). Provide your personal email address to receive a security code.
Option B: Click "I want to setup a different method" and choose Security Questions. You must set up 3 questions and answers.
NEXT: Once your password is updated and security prompts are set up, you may close the window and proceed to Step 2.
This single new password will now be your login credential for Google (Email), Microsoft 365, PowerSchool, all USD 434 computers, and other connected services.
This step ensures you can access your school email.

Sign In:
Use the USD434.US email address from your onboarding email.
Use the new password you created in Step 1.
You may need to agree to Google's terms and conditions before entering your inbox.
NEXT: Once you have successfully signed into your email account you are finished with Step 2. Please move on to Step 3.
This step ensures we have your necessary administrative and contact information for state reporting and emergency alerts.

Sign In: You must sign in using your USD434.US account (your school email and the password you reset in Step 1) because this form is restricted to district staff.
Complete: Fill out all required fields in the form. The information is used for:
State reporting.
Internal administrative needs.
Adding you to our system for emergency alerts (sent via voice, text, and email).
NEXT: Once you have completed the form and clicked Submit, you are finished with Step 3. Please move on to Step 4.
This step requires you to review our guidelines for using district resources and formally agree to follow them.

Sign In: You must sign in using your USD434.US account (email and password) to access the restricted district form.
Review Policies: Carefully read the linked acceptable use policy documents and guidelines.
If you have questions, email the team at sfthelpdesk@usd434.us.
Complete: After reviewing the documents, type your name to confirm your agreement to adhere to the policies, and click Submit.
NEXT: You are now finished with Step 4. Please move on to Step 5.
This step is for submitting the photo that will be used for your official ID badge/keyfob, and if applicable a laptop bag tag. Keep in mind this photo will stay with you for a while so make sure it's a picture you like.

Sign In: You must sign in using your USD434.US account (email and password).
Upload Photo:
Quality Check: Please ensure the photo is clear, shows you from approximately the waist up, and has your face centered. This photo will be visible on your ID.
At the bottom of the form, click "Add File" to upload your chosen photo.
Click Submit.
Assistance: If you cannot take a suitable photo yourself, email sfthelpdesk@usd434.us to schedule a photo session.
NEXT: Once you have completed all 5 steps we will have what we need to complete the onboarding process.
If your position requires an ID Badge/FOB only we will deliver it to your building and give it to the office manager and/or Athletic Director for coaches.
If your position requires an ID Badge/FOB plus a laptop we will reach out to your personal and work email account to schedule a pickup time. This will be at the Scranton Attendance Center at 104 Burlingame Ave, Scranton, KS in Room 144.
